I think starting grade school at 8am is ridiculous, in order to be out the door and at the bus stop, eat breakfast, get dressed and brush your teeth they need to be up at 6 am, and then you are rushing! What a horrible way to start everyday! Elementary children need just as much rest as middle school kids or high school kids and they need to rely on their parents to help them as well. I just think it is tooooo early!

This district has been so supportive of our kids and family! Teachers are amazing and the principals have been really involved. Such a great district for the kids!

The reason why is because StudentVUE is updating until at least Wednesday (I think)
For elementary it starts 8:45-3:30, but for Middle school and highschool it starts 7:40-2:40. next year times will switch so elementary will start 7:40-2:40 and middle school to highschool will start 8:45-3:30. wednesday is just an hour and 30 minutes shorter for both. except middle school and highschool which is an hour and 40 minutes shorter
