Very pleasant experience! The float is generally very sedate. There is one section with class 1 "rapids" which add a hint of excitement, but the rest of the route is flat water. Plenty of birds to watch, and the water temperature when we went in July was just south of body temp... Cool enough to be refreshing in the sun, but not cold at all. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Good fun for families.

The float was great! Tubes were sturdy and in good shape. The check in and pick up process was confusing and the handoff from each station was messy at best. Almost didn't get a tube because it wasn't clear we needed to ask for one.

Highly recommend this activity if your in the Bend Oregon area. Fun for all ages and families. Tumalo Creek Tube Rentals makes sure you will have everything you need to make your experience perfect. Lots of free parking, floatation vests, tubes, expectation and safety talk, shuttles every 15 minutes to get you to river and back to your car, and easy sign off of waivers online. Recommend you sign up and purchase your tickets in advance as this activity as been known to sell out quickly. Staff is friendly and they have a small kiosk, at check in, that sells essentials such as croakers, water proof bags, sandals, hats, sunscreen etc. recommend wearing water shoes or sandals and no flip flops.

I was a little worried after reading the past reviews and wait times for the shuttle but we didn’t have any issues! Everyone was super nice and accommodating! We just waited a few minutes for everyone to get their tubes and then hopped on the shuttle. Had the best time floating down the river, only wish we could have floated longer!
