I cant even give this a one star. We went yesterday at 7:30pm for dinner and it took forever to get a waitress to our table. Once she arrived we ordered our drinks and asked her to come back for our order. She acted like we were totally rude to ask such. Once she came back we began to order chicken and dumplings and were told they were out of them. So we once again asked if she could come back....almost a total mistake on our part again with her attitude. We she came back after a while we tried to order fried chicken....they were out of that also...the fish??? Nope out...so we asked tell us what you are out of verse us playing games. I think they had 3 or 4 items on the menu. We decided to just leave after all this. We have eaten here before and love cracker barrel but this is the absolute worst place to stop for a meal. Sorry but again I can't even give it one star...well maybe one because the sweet tea was ok.

I had to give a 1 star because they don't have zero. I have enjoyed Cracker Barrel across the country for years. It is my go to when traveling. My husband works near this location, so we go when I'm at work with him. This store needs a new manager. This is now the 6th time I have been to this location where there were out of most of major food items. Today we purposely ordered food before drinks with the intention of leaving if they didn't have what we wanted. Waitress, who was nice, took our order after we sat for 5 minutes. Then 5 minutes after that she came back with a menu so I could decide again what I wanted. Because she was polite and had brought our drinks we stayed and I ordered something else. Not that Manager her cares, but I will never come to this location again. I will continue to go to other locations because this is the only one I have ever had this issue with. I know I'm not the only one that thinks service is lacking hear. I can hear guest around me complaining know.

As always, Cracker Barrel provides a great meal. The fried chicken is always my go-to entree and my wife got a breakfast entree. The biscuits were hot and fresh out the oven. Really, the biggest reason for this review is because our server was fantastic. I believe his name was Vaz. With the shortage of servers not wanting to work, our server got a $40 tip. He was genuine, prompt, and brought joy to the table. This kid has the personality and work ethic to go far in life and I wish him nothing but the best. Cracker Barrel management should certainly recognize him in some manner. I believe I saw other posts regarding this gentleman. He also wrote a little joke on the back of our meal ticket which I saw other post about.

Service: amazing. Our server was "Vaz" i believe? He was at the other end of the table and always on the move, but took the time to stop, the day before Thanksgiving, and kind greet each of the 6 of us. And it wasn't just hi, how are you. It was actual questions where he listened to our responses and followed up with additional questions. He was kind, and very prompt with every request. There was not one thing we asked for that he didn't do, timely, with a smile. CRACKER BARREL MANAGEMENT: PROMOTE THIS KID TO TEACH OTHERS HOW TO PROPERLY INTERACT WITH THE PUBLIC! I have stopped at this same restaurant in the past, and never had an experience worth my Google review, good or bad. This one....easiest choice. Very pleased.

I was also very disappointed the last time I dined there. It took about 70 minutes to get our food. Worst part, it wan't even busy.
