Our family asked for a palliative care assessment for my elderly father-in-law. They said no and sent him home with a urinary cath as he is no longer able to urinate on his own. Very poor communication about his medical status and his discharge papers talked about surgery site care but he didn’t have a surgery. Their focus was to get him out of the hospital and they did so without a full safety plan. The case manager is not allowed to talk about the patients medical issues. Case manager job is entirely to get patients home and if they aren’t allowed to take into consideration medical information…well…it helps to protect the hospital from getting sued for negligence.

I'm a chronic pain patient I use the er more than j would like. I love the majority of the staff they are very kind. I injured myself and was in just the other day and Dr Shnapper was really rude and dismissive. Argued with me about what meds I am on. Gave me no real medical instructions and no kind of treatment. The nurse I had even apologized and told me to keep fighting for myself. I've never had a problem with any other providers. I heard him across the hall being rude to another patient too so I know it wasn't just me.

The staff who I have encountered here are just wonderful, for the most part. When I had my son here, the nurses and CNAs were always super helpful. This hospital doesn't seem big and big business-like but instead manages to keep a small town feel to it

In the ER at McKenzie Willamette, there’s a male nurse who goes by the nickname Crow. While experiencing the worst time of my life, Crow took the time to listen to me and quickly became my advocate, my voice, and the kindest staff member to walk in my room. (The other staff were wonderful also) His smile was a relief to see. He made me feel safe. I will never be able to thank him enough. <3

All hospitals have the HIPAA rules and some patients have a no public information stipulation put on their files by the patient as well
Call the hospital to find out.
I would check with H R
Yes
It could be that you have trillium. Because at the beginning of the year they quit accepting trillium as an insurance. I don't know what kind of doctors they have their as I use River Bend. I live nearby there and have been there in medical emergencies but that's it.
I believe it was May 1, 1955
Clinical Decision Unit. Typically they hold patients there for further testing and evaluation, then either move them into the unit they need to be in or discharge them.
That's the building on the ER side back across from the church parkung lot
If you haven't gotten sick yet you're probably ok. Don't eat anymore..toss it out. Usually dairy intolerance hits you right away. I'm not a nurse nor a representative of McKenzie Willamette Medical Center. Just using my common sense. I do office work.
They do not take pets.we had to go 15 min out to motel 6..drug deals all night long. Totally not happy
They have an emergency room
I was the patient and mynwife was able to sleep on the couch. When my wife haf our fist vhild i slept on the couch. But i think 9 pm for everyone thatd not spouse or main support
You need to know what?
The rooms I was in were private. Just make sure not to pay them in advance when they ask you to because they over estimate and take forever to pay you back. Also double check your medicine because when I was there they gave me someone else's IV.

Its named after the 2 rivers flowing through this area. It sits in between the McKenzie and Willamette rivers. McKenzie to the north, Wllamete to the south.
