The leasing office is always so nice and clean. The people who answer the phones are very knowledgeable. Everyone is always nice and friendly. They helped my aunt and uncle move into an amazing apartment and they love it! Thank you for taking the time with them.

Lipstick on a pig. My AC had a leak the entire time we lived there throughout several property managers and no one would fix it. We kept complaining and putting in work orders. While maintenance responds right away, they never actually solved the problem for good. My utility bills for a 2 bedroom apt were consistently $200-250. I moved to a 3 bedroom house with 400 more sq ft and my utilities are now $75 running the same temps. You also live surrounded by trash in this community and nothing gets done other than an email. The dumpster is broken and overflowing routinely. The recycling is overflowing and seemingly gets collected 1-2x/month only. Neighbors are too lazy to park their cars in spots, so they double park all over the place causing ridiculous inconveniences and a terrible look for the parking lot. People also bring their shopping carts over from lowes and leave them strewn about. There are also car break ins almost on a bi-weekly basis at this point. This is the furthest thing from a “luxury” apartment complex, but they painted, so rent went up $400-600 per unit. My friend in a much nicer, newer property rught down the parkway only saw an increase of $75 in rent YOY. Run away from Bexley and look anywhere else in Brier creek. They are simply nickling and diming every which way possible at the detriment of the residents.

Until these last few years, Bexley has been everything to me. I am not a fan of the property manager and the team she has. Maintenance is great! But the staff could use some work and more training. I am moving out after 7 years at the end of April. I was quoted an amount by the team 3 different times and received a statement that didn't reflect that. The property manager responded with very little sympathy.... she hasn't been the best property manager that I have experienced here. My water heater exploded last year in December and I had to ask her to put me in a hotel while things were being situated. She never suggested it. The maintenance guy did even though I was going to ask anyway. Everyone was great, understanding and sympathetic in the beginning when I moved here. It's sad because this is a nice complex. This review is for the property manager and her staff - not the complex itself. UPDATE - Just received my deposit back. I put in 3 work orders about my water flooding in the kitchen and told them that it wouldnt be fair if I was charged for the increase due that. KACEY said it would be looked into. KATRINA told me it was still being looked into on May 10 - the so called-invoice was mailed on that day. Bexley was great to me until my last few months and being lied to about the exit amount and this water situation. BEWARE when talking and getting amounts from these two!!! The style, size and cleanliness of the apartment complex is superb - for those who are looking. I do miss my one bedroom but not the flooding or other things that I dealt with there.

I’ve lived here for over a year now and really like it. Other apartments I’ve lived in just felt like a couple of boxes put together. They didn’t feel like a home. The unit I’m renting at Bexley at Brier Creek has much more of a “home” feel. Good amount of natural light, tile bathroom floors and entry, decent amount of kitchen cabinet space (but not a ton of cabinet space - might have to get creative if you have a lot of kitchenware), clean facilities, package area for deliveries, nice pool and workout area, inviting outdoor commons area with 2 TVs, grills, tables, and a fireplace. Can’t beat the location. Everything I need is pretty much a mile or less away. Maintenance and office staff have always been helpful and courteous. I really like the fenced in area for my dog and the attached garage (both extras, but both worth it). Overall, I think it’s a really good place to live. Only downside I can think of is the walls are a little thin, so the heat/AC runs a lot during really cold/hot days. And if your neighbor happens to be a cabinet-slammer like mine, you’re going to hear it.
