Beautiful property in a great location! Located at the heart of downtown and walking distance from NC State University. I’m a vendor for the property and Katie and April or super friendly and easy to work with.

On my third year here. The biggest issue is that there is no longer enforcement in the parking lots for West Morgan Street. If you don't get home early on a Friday afternoon, the parking lots are overtaken with patrons to Trophy Brewing. It's the same on weekend afternoons. There has been a noticeable decrease in the maintenance and upkeep of the property this past year. Common areas in buildings are no longer cleaned regularly. Windows covered in spider webs and lots of bugs. Trash in laundry rooms are overflowing. The common washer and dryer for your building (that's all you get here now) are not cleaned. There used to be a main laundry so you could be guaranteed the ability to do laundry, and it was maintained. That has since been removed. The high speed WiFi included in your lease is slower than dial-up from the late 1990's, if it is working at all. And we all get nasty emails from the office about how it's not their fault and don't expect anything. The office assistant can be very curt. Also, the water often has to be turned off regularly, and the hot water often does not work when it is on. Do expect to have to have your own internet installed if you want it to be reliable. A very noticeable difference in the basic things since I moved in. I'm sure it's due to the corporate management that took over this place.

If you're looking for a great and affordable place to live downtown, Cameron Court is hard to beat. This place is well cared for and (from what I understand) is still owned by the same family that built it in the 1930's. Julie and Isabella in the office are wonderful to work with, very easy-going, and actually remember who you are when you see them. I've had two maintenance requests since I've lived here, and they were both completed the next day with no hassle (one of them was submitted at 10pm and it was completed before 10am the next day). The courtyard is beautiful, as are the apartments with their original hardwood floors and huge wrought iron windows in every room. For everyone working from home - you can get a 2 bedroom apartment here for the price of a studio/1 bedroom in one of the "luxury" cookie-cutter apartments downtown. That's what I did and it's nice to have a huge office to work in instead of having to set up shop in my bedroom or living room. Don't let the shared laundry scare you away either; I was a little hesitant about it, but the washers/dryers are super nice and I've never had to wait on someone else to move their laundry when I wanted to do mine. This is a true gem in the heart of downtown Raleigh and there aren't many places like it around here anymore.

I live in the Shelton Apartments at Cameron Court and LOVE IT. I have 2 walk in closets, a super functional layout and a HUGE window to the courtyard with a sill that is big enough for my 60 lb dog to stand in and watch the neighbors and squirrels. The windows in every room (yes, even the bathroom) give natural light throughout the apartment and provide nice breezes on temperate spring days. The kitchen is slightly dated, but I added a cart for my microwave and coffee preparation and haven't had a problem cooking in it! I don't miss having a dishwasher or in unit washer/dryer (features I had at previous apartments). The complex's laundry room is SO nice, clean, and free (not coin operated). Almost everyone has pets and you can spot the kitties in the windows from the courtyard. My dog Loki has even made friends with my neighbors' dogs and they've gotten to play. The people (and their pets) are friendly and courteous. This is the first apartment complex (of four) that I've lived in where I have ever gotten to know my neighbors and it's been delightful. Cameron Court is located close enough to the heart of Raleigh to make everything walkable, but far enough from the hustle and bustle that you hardly hear the trains or traffic. As a young female, I feel safe walking or running in the neighborhood at night or early in the morning. (The complex is walking distance to my place of work which makes it even better.) Between the cozy neighborhood, the kind neighbors and the charming apartments, Cameron Court feels like home. I couldn't pick a better place to live.

Depends on the layout, but around 1050 to 1150, but they could have raised prices
