Great for a destination or a bike route to downtown Wake Forest. The park connects to a path behind the high school, through Heritage, and under the bypass. As someone who grew up on Rogers Rd. before the subdivisions, it’s also great to see the old mill bridge preserved and appreciated. It’s always been a local treasure and picnic spot. There’s also many other delightful picnic spots in the outcroppings of Rolesville granite along the creek.

This is obviously a beautiful creekside park, although I've now heard of four smash-and-grabs in the span of a month on vehicles parked in the parking lot there, including my own wheelchair accessible ramp-van, and including ANOTHER wheelchair accessible ramp-van a few weeks ago, if you can believe that. My advice if you are considering a visit to this park, avoid this place or clean it up. **PERSONAL MESSAGE TO THE MILL BRIDGE THIEF** -- If you are the one who smashed the driver side window out of a Black 2009 Toyota Sienna wheelchair accessible ramp-van and took the green bag out of my driver seat, you owe me $1000.00 for: the new window, the labor to clean inside the vehicle door and install the new window, and for a day's missed wages. I don't know if you think all disabled people are living on easy street, or if you are just a fatherless wastrel, or what. Anyway there wasn't diddly squat inside that green bag was there? Just a few children's smoothie drinks, a cold block, and a Mountain Dew. You certainly were a loser this time. Please arrange for a cashier's check made out to me, in the amount of $1000.00 as specified above, to be mailed or delivered to Officer Langston of the Rolesville Police Department, anonymously if you must, and I'll consider our business settled. But you and I both know that the real business you need to attend to is between you and God. Good luck to you.

It's so beautiful here. There's a paved trail that turns into a boardwalk. Then there's the little trail along the creek takes you by all the little waterfalls and pools, which you can wade in. Just watch out for snakes in the warmer months.

Lovely trails, both paved and rustic. Nice spots to enjoy the water.
