Been delaying a review but I think now's the time. When we first moved here to north ID, I needed to secure a bridge loan until we sold our previous home. We were put into contact by our real estate agent to Mountain West in Coeur d'Alene. The loan officer seem nice and helpful BUT after a month plus, absolutely nothing was done. We sent ALL of our loan paperwork and he kept on delaying saying he needed something else and when he finally submitted our loan application, we didn't hear a word!! And now it's been almost 6 years and it's the same story. Our church needed to refinance our mortgage as a balloon payment was due. Again we were referred to Mountain West and AGAIN after a month plus of submitting paperwork and talking over the details, NOTHING was done. Since I have an account at STCU I decided to try them; in about 10 days, our church's loan application was submitted and within another 10 days approved. Meanwhile, the loan officer at Mountain West came back and requested more info!! SERIOUSLY???!!!! I told him we got our loan from another institution and that was that. Doing "normal" banking at Mountain West is typical of any other bank. However, it seems getting a mortgage is almost next to impossible; I don't know if their mortgage staff is clueless or just incompetent OR maybe Mountain West's process needs to revised!! Sorry guys, the PF branch staff are all nice but the mortgage group in C'da is useless!!!

I've been banking here for years. The app and the website have really gone down hill. I have not been able to log in for days now and I have bills to pay! The customer service is great, but only at the post falls location. Absolutely terrible service at the cda and hayden locations. Thinking of switching banks, especially if I can't log into the website to even pay my bills!

Very poor experience here. Workers are friendly and nice, but the bank itself has been very underhanded and unfair. Make sure you check your numbers and don't trust them with your money.

Hello Patty, Yes, the Post Falls telephone number has static and was reported as a phone line issue. We plan to have it fixed sometime today hopefully. Thank you!

The IT department is most likely working on the system, but you can make sure the app is up to date, and try restarting your phone and see if that fixes the problem.

Mountain West is open on Saturday from 9 until 2pm I think. I've had my account hacked 2X the second for 6G I went in wmand within half an hour they put my money back and issued me a new card which toom 5 days to get. But the point being they didn't dispute my claim they invesigated the IP address and they went after those responsible. They are the BEST BANK and people that I've dealt with in my 25 yrs here. Considering I've been with the Big National banks and several other local banks that lost my business for good reasons. Im as Equally supportive of this Bank and their Response to a Customers problems. Now I did make an error some years back that resulted in a huge overdraft. They even worked with me and disposed of about 90% of the overage fees but I also borrowed money to bring my account into the + and just the current fees. They saved me several hundred dollars in fees. I am on a fixed income so it would have hurt me badly. They really helped. Go talk to them.
