Though I wasn't there voluntarily, I've got to admit that it was the best hospital I've ever been too. The staff are all amazing and kind, the campus is beautiful, there's a large selection of freshly cooked food, and the rooms are spotless and have large TVs with many popular shows and movies. There are fun kids rooms and activities such as Wednesday (kids) Bingo, Arts and Crafts Friday, an amazing school room, and so much more. No hospital could have made my stay more comfortable, and that's coming from a teenager who was forced to go there.

My baby came here in the middle of the night after experiencing a febrile seizure that left her cyanotic and unable to breath. We came via ambulance. The ED team here was professional and compassionate. From the nurses to the on-call peds attending, everyone treated us with dignity and kindness. My daughter's nurse came at least every 3-4 minutes to make sure she was stable and that her needs were absolutely met without delay. I felt no pressure to have any invasive tests done for her. The nurse even asked the attending to speak with me when she noted I was not in an emotionally solid place before discharge. Dr. Mansour spent at least 10 mins focused on my well-being as a parent, a fellow doc, and working mom. Both he and our nurse spent a significant amount of time speaking with my husband who was waiting anxiously in the outside waiting room. Words cannot express how much this experience means to me. This was the most frightening night of our lives and we are so grateful for the way our baby was treated and the way that we, as parents, were reassured. While we are still all recovering emotionally as a family, we wanted to say "Thank you" to this team of healers.

Great staff, free food for families with kids inpatient. Food needs help a bit, cooking skills omg. But they're all wonderful.

My favorite hospital. Everyone here are amazing to work with and to know. Friendly and happy. One of the best hospitals in the city.

Donation is from the heart. Donate as little or as big as you want
https://lushersolutions.com/OnlineRegistration/Registration/RecentStayCreateView?house=san-francisco Fill out the application when they schedule the surgery. Also call the hospital social worker to make sure they got the application.
YES, the short answer is UCSF accepts Medi-Cal.
No visitors. Only one direct caregiver for minors. No ins and outs, per 24 hr period. Ronald McDonald house is closed now too. Kicked families out. Still changing and a ton of confusion.
Hi. Can you be a little more specific?
Call the Dr. If you get the answering service....ask to be put straight through to the Dr... There is a very specific pre-procedure protocal that shoyld be started 24-36 hours before the procedure. Also call the performing facility....they may be able to help you.

You can get off at 4th and King St and take Muni's T Line South. You'll have to get off at the Mission Bay stop and walk to the Children's Hospital. (About a block and a half.) Actually, there may even be a stop in front of the Hospital.
What exactly is your question?
I believe you ask to speak with the charge nirse and take it from there.
