I've been to a lot of venues, and this is by far my favorite of all of them. If the weather is good, you have beautiful sunsets behind you. The area is lined with excellent food trucks. Bathrooms are plentiful, and easy to get into. There's barely ever a line if you are trying to get a beer. Everything here just moves so smoothly. And as for the show, the sound is decent, and even when the venue is at Max capacity, there is plenty of space to move around. Can't say enough good things about Thompson's point.

Amazing venue! Cannot say enough good things about this venue and their employees. Ricky working barricade was truly a highlight for the evening. Not only was he fun and interacted with the crowd all night, he made sure everyone was feeling good and staying hydrated. Awesome views, great good, and fantastic bands - I’ll definitely be back!

This was such a lovely place to see a show! Right by the water and beautiful. Everyone working at the venue was so helpful and kind, but Dallas and Ricky in particular were so great at working the barricade at Friday’s Bleachers concert! Very attentive while still lots of fun. Will most definitely come back.

What a beautiful outdoor venue! It's right next to the highway and I believe an airport, so I thought sounds from cars and planes would ruin the show, but you couldn't even hear them. There were so many food options from various food trucks, which I absolutely loved. It's right on a little river side too, which is gorgeous. Would definitely come back again!

No, there is a lawn section however the area nearest the stage is standing room only.
Backpack or pocketbooks and soft sided coolers are allowed no can at all just sealed plastic bottles or empty refillable water bottles.
I believe its one unopened water bottle per person, in which case refillable bottles would not be allowed. You may want to ask the venue directly to make sure
Hello! It can depend on the event. For the State Theatre Concert Series, make sure to check the individual event page, as the requirements can vary from artist to artist. Our free Summer Sunsets series that runs most Thursdays and Fridays does not currently require vaccination.
Thompson's Point will likely direct you to ticketmaster. You can always call the State Theater box office and ask, though.
Did you end up finding parking? I’m in the same pickle!
Yes. They do have bag checks for some concerts and events.
It was 20 bucks paid the day we got our tickets..parking sells out quickly and there are a lot of places you can be towed from ..much safer to get parking along with your tickets
Yup. Had to show card or photo of same
If you were a real VIP, your personal assistant would be asking that question.
I already paid for parking but yeah arriving early is what I thought I would have to do. Thank you for your response.
Yes.
Usually kids pay for concerts.
5:00pm.
Not sure call the venue
I think Alex is right, most shows I've seen there have a VIP section at the side of the stage... some seating and I think their own bar... However I don't see any mention of VIP tix on the Thompsons Point Facebook page for this event. I would check TP website or contact the State Theater for confirmation.
No, you cannot park at the bus/train station. There is event parking at the venue for a price, best purchased in advance if you want it . Also parking available at the Mercy Hospital facility which is a short walk away.
Call ticket office at port city music hall. They might be able to connect you with a contact number.
All music events are put on by the State Theater.
Cancelled. My kids are there they are checking now
Yes. Be sure to pack a raincoat :)
Shows are rain or shine. If it's raining there's a covered pavilion at the Point.
There is pay for parking right at the venue, or you can park at the hospital for free about a quarter mile away and walk.
Typically, not during a show. Some special events have allowed them in the past but usually not. When there is no show, dogs are allowed.
