I would probably only recommend this place as a back up or last resort. Last doctor I saw wanted to schedule me for a ultrasound and was told it's up to the technician if they want to charge me. When I left that appointment no one advised of payment due. Received a surprise email about 2 weeks later saying I owed $200. Probably should of expected a payment but with that kind of ambiguity I wasn't sure.

God forbid you have an emergency from this medical facility. Spending 20 minutes on hold is of the norm. Getting a priority call back may or may not happen. Making an appointment with one doctor, per patient request, then having it changed by the medical staff without being notified is extremely frustrating. Absolutely no reason for this happening per their staff member. Not a fan!!

Wife arrived for a docs visit that she had to schedule 3 weeks out with Anne Thomas, snowy, icy morning she shows up 5 MINUTES LATE due to slow traffic and bad road conditions.. and is denied to be seen and told she'll have to reschedule, I called and complained over the phone, hoping someone would reach out to her and apologize and help her get in soon to be seen, she never recieved a call. Will not be going back here

My Doctor is fantastic! The best I’ve ever had. If she’s not available, I’ve been satisfied with other people I’ve seen too. The providers and staff overall are friendly. However, the weak link of this place is when you call in. I don’t feel confident when I call in that what I need relayed to my Doctor will be or if it is, that the information will be correct. I find when you call in, it seems they just want to rush you to take the next call. I know this place is busy, but I’d much rather a couple more minutes of holding and their time to ensure everything being taken down for me is correct. Sometimes it feels like their call center is it’s own little separate world from the others up in the healthcare center. I prefer the online portal for communication. The portal is user friendly and I find I get responses pretty quickly. I feel bad. Tough time for healthcare since Covid….

This is a public forum that asks your questions to community members. Not directly to martins point. I would delete your personal information and call then directly to ensure you are going to the correct location.

Do I need a referral from my PCP(Intermed) in order to see a specialist in the Martin's Point network?( I have seen a specialist in this area previously but at Intermed.)

Yes, I would to make sure your insurance covers it.
