The Sears tech, Andrew, performed preventive maintenance service on my air conditioner and dish washer. He was very thorough and had some good tips to prolong the useful life of both units. He also suggested the best way to maintain internal cleaning and demineralizing dish washer lines. During his visit he discovered the dispenser assembly and door seal needed replacement and ordered the parts for next week service. The Sears service agreement is well worth the cost. If for any reason a unit cannot be repaired, it will be replaced free of charge.

I was completely impressed by the technician Sears sent to repair my treadmill. I am so apprehensive regarding my safety on the treadmill and Sears technician so patiently took the time to check every part of the treadmill and completely reassured me of the safety of using treadmill. I am so grateful to have such a knowledgeable, kind and courteous person to deal with and I am now confident, thanks to the time, expertise and attention of the technician, to use the treadmill.

Appointment was available next day. Polite, timely, efficient work... Very knowledgeable about the appliance. Needed a part to complete work, made a call, went to pick up, came back quickly and finished the job. This is my second equally excellent experience with Sears repair (washer and oven)

Our refrigerator was leaking water. We had a service call and the needed part was ordered. We then had to wait two weeks for the repairman to come back...refrigerator still leaking water. We were told the repairman would be at our home between the hours of 10am and noon. So we rearranged our schedule accordingly. The day of repair we were told the repairman would be at our home between 11:15am and 1:15pm. The new time did not work with our rearranged schedule. I called customer service, it was already after 11am, and the women I spoke to told me there was nothing she could do. The time he will be at our home was it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she kept repeating the time the repairman would be at our home and that her supervisor would tell me the same thing. I never got to speak to a supervisor. The customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. That is the reason I will not purchase any other appliance through Sears or any of its affiliates. Its too bad because the repairman did show up about 11:40am and he was great. He did the best he could with the part that was delivered.

I don't know, check manual first. Replacement is less expensive than repair by tech in most cases
