A spectacular venue yet not ideal option for surprise parties (Hosted a "surprise" b-day party on 4/30/22 in the Vintage room + terrace) Big disappointment is the surprise part was ruined. We all agreed a day before my event that my guests (25+ people) would be waiting at the elevator exit to surprise my husband, however, that was either not well communicated to the front desk assistant or the plan was just changed last minute, my guests were asked to go back to the Vintage room. The Vintage room was all the way in the back of the hallway. Plus there is another event room was wide open with people's partying inside. I totally understand that it could be crowded at the elevator exist with more people, but the surprise would be only for 2 minutes at most. I had been already closely communicating with my guests so the timing would be perfect. It was my 2-month of work, pressure of planning this surprise and then turned into a failure. I felt very disrespected. And if that were communicated to me earlier, we could have had other options instead of ruining my surprise party like that. 1st star - Spacious room with stunning view from the terrace of the vintage room! There are tables set up as well as fire lamps for night. 2nd star - Great pre-party planning and service during the party. I was behind the schedule but Taissa helped me through the last step of the preparation process and put things all in order and be ready. Miguel was in charge of my event date and he was available whenever we needed him! Kudos to those two! 3rd star - One appetizer is highly recommended - Mini beef Wellington is a MUST try! The buffet (The Olympian) was pretty good, just the fish was a bit too salty. Overall food was good! So fair warning, the vintage room is a great choice for most events but not surprise parties.

If you are looking for entertainment or wedding venue, it's fantastic. If you are looking for social not beneficial gatherings definitely good. But if you are building business, looking for network or looking for good connections save your money and look for other business oriented club . Most members are small biz, real estate agents, insurance agents etc. The Silicon valley Capital Club is at the top floor of the Night Ridder building in DTSJ, the place is clean and the waiters/staff are professional, the views from deck look great.
