We went to a rock concert in this lovely restored theater that made me nostalgic for how theaters used to be. There is a balcony and two staircases leading up to it with a modern elevator if the stairs are too much to climb. Seats are comfortable and you can sit on the sides of the theater in separate sections too. Acoustics were also good. The stage has modern LED lighting. We hope to go back many times in the future. Parking is on the street.

What an awesome gem I found here! Amazing venue! Super clean, extremely large and comfortable seats with tons of leg room even for us 6'7" large people! The people working here were super friendly and you can tell they love working here. Even the bathrooms were clean and spaacious! Just all around super nice. The ONLY thing they need to work on is a better bar/drink system. A little awkward with the set up. Even if that never changes....this is hands down the BEST local kept secret! Please bring in more shows! Sinbad was AWESOME!!!

I went to the California Theater a couple of days before Halloween to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show (shadow cast and audience participation included). The theater is definitely older which lends it a certain charm. The staff is pretty fabulous, meaning they are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The event I went to turned out to be fun for my entire group, myself included. The Bawdy Caste (the shadow cast performers) were very good. All in all, it was a seriously fun experience.

I don't really know. I've been to the California theater, enter the mecca restaurant. I have friends that live there. So as the previous person said I guess it depends on what you like and what you want to do.

The plays are typically held through 3rd party schools, this theater usually does college level.
