Please be careful PARKING here @Jack London Aquatic Ctr. if you have a Prius or Honda. This is a photo I took off FB, pictured here are CATALYTIC CONVERTERS. I would not recommend parking here unless the Oakland Parks decide to step it up with some kind of security solution. Here's a picture of my car -taken underneath my car. Hard to imagine there was once a beautiful Original Honda Catalytic Converter priced today approx.-$3,250.00, & after market around $2,125.00. There's now an empty space, if you look closely, you can see the pipe is cut off. Thieves use portable cordless saws to cut through heavy metal. Pls beware, you may be the next victim of theft at this beautiful boathouse. Love Oakland yet it's one of the biggest rackets going in the bay area, sadly the Jack London Aquatic Center is a target for - precious metals (rhodium) found in your Catalytic Converter esp. if you drive Prius, Honda, Mitsubishi.. Do your research, be SAFE & RIDE YOUR BIKE!

It was perfect for our private get together. The view was really nice too. It's quaint for a small gathering, and it's a great open space to transform it into what you want it to be.
