I have read these four and five star reviews of the Oakland VA clinic and Google needs to remove them from their platform for making false statements. Because I have been going to the Oakland VA outpatient clinic since 1992, and I have never experienced satisfactory service there, the medical staff is very incompetent and they are the rudest staff at any of the VA clinics. And they’re only good for is prescription refills and that is it..

Do yourself a favor, save your time and never come here. Have been to this clinic multiple times and this is not just the worst health care but the worst service I have ever received period. Very unprofessional staff, always bad service, no one will help you. I will never come back to the VA ever again. This place is pathetic. Seek medical care elsewhere.

This place is EVERYTHING that is wrong with the VA health care system! The staff are so incredibly rude they truly don’t want to help! The place is dirty and a horrible location. Everything about the services here is beyond incompetent. Honestly never want to come back here again. Also, the staff men clearly have not been trained on sexual harassment. They made me feel so uncomfortable with their comments and the way they looked at me.

Staff are generally very helpful and supportive but the funding is not sufficient for the number of patients. We (and they) deserve better!

I don't work there, but I am a physical therapy patient. The clinic does have an ultrasound machine, unsure of the model. It was used on me for another reason besides PT.
I got this from the City of Walnut Creek website: https://forms.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=3tkgKC3cY0OGJvKwA0OMRRd1QfIVjtpAkM-cYiio35ZUM0hIWVpaOTJHSDBTM0ZLSU5SNUM3NEo0OCQlQCN0PWcu People have been posting on Nextdoor that the Contra Costa County had been pretty fast at getting people appointments close to where they live. Also 75+ is the highest priority
Surgeries are done at the Martinez location, but you might meet with the surgeon first in Oakland. I can attest to a great knee surgery.
Yes once you get registered and see your primary care physician.
About 700 patients per day.
The shuttle bus leaves MLK Vet Clinic twice daily, about 8:00 am and 11:00 am, these hours might have changed, contact for update information.
