Absolutely floored that this place claims to specialize in transgender needs. Their clinic is extremely understaffed which I'm sure is difficult. However, the person who is supposed to answer the phones is shockingly incompassionate and doesn't seem to actually care about helping people. I called on 3 separate occasions, practically begging for someone to call me back. It's impossible to get an appointment, or if you finally do, they're booked out for MONTHS. Making transgender people wait for critical services can cause so much anguish. I felt like this clinic strung me along and only made me feel extremely frustrated and dejected. I've decided to look elsewhere for care and I really recommend everyone else to do the same - they are NOT equipped to handle the needs of the people they claim to support.

Support staff is HORRIFIC. They hang up on you after you have been on hold for an hour. They tell you they cannot help you and send you all over Kaiser only to find out this was the correct number in the first place.

Does Kaiser administer MMR vaccine to black males before 36 months? you do not allow post without star.

I just started using Kaiser. During my first appointment, I described my disability to my new doctor and provided her with paperwork about my condition from past doctors (I needed a letter explaining my condition for jury duty purposes). She told me she didn't have time to look through my paperwork during the visit, but she asked me to briefly explain my condition to her and said she would look through my paperwork after our visit. A few days after my appointment, she sent me a message saying that my paperwork was already. When I picked it up, however, it was not a medical excuse. It was a letter addressed to me that briefly described my condition in a way that was inaccurate and misleading and did not excuse me from jury duty. I asked someone else at Kaiser and they confirmed that it was not a medical excuse. It would have been much simpler and saved me a lot of time if she had simply told me in her message that she was unwilling to provide a medical excuse. Then I would've had time to schedule another appointment with a doctor who was willing to evaluate me during my appointment and provide the medical excuse. I have a diagnosed disability and I have never had this issue with the last three providers I saw for my condition, all outside of Kaiser.
