Cabins have a strong smell and do not stay warm when it's cold. You can see the moisture issues in the wood paneling that is warped all over. Beds are decades old and you can feel all the springs. Not worth the price IMHO. Had it not been so cold, it would have been better to camp in a tent. Campgrounds are dated but it was clean. Office staff is never at the office. Bathrooms were centrally located and heated. Laundry facilities consist of one washer and dryer from the 1990's that are all rusted out and left outside.

Website states, "Daddy Rabbit's campground is a great place for just plain old relaxation." I will agree with the words "plain" and "old" but take issue with the rest of the statement. First thing when you pull in is a trailer with clutter laying around it, which is not very comforting. The roads and campsites were very difficult to find under a layer of leaves. Bring extra leveling blocks. 20 amp service was sufficient for us, but know that running your A/C and coffee pot at the same time may trip a fuse. The water supply had a large amount of sediment in it. The bathhouse, while repainted sometime in the recent past, was full of old cobwebs and dried out insect carcasses, which really should be cleared out at least once a week. Overall, Daddy Rabbit's has the feeling of an old boy scout camp that council leadership is in the process of closing, and are trying to get one last summer out of it before finally calling it quits. We'll be staying someplace else next time we return to Floyd.

I feel the website is misleading. It says there are full hookups but the plug was not 50 amp service and we needed some sort of converter. It’s an older campsite and we barely had room for our 35’ rig. We had no at&t or verizon phone service. It was not for us and we ended up going somewhere else.

Beautiful wooded hilly campground, but not big rig friendly. Only 15 amp electric, no DirecTV satellite, no Verizon. We had to park our 40' motorhome on 3 different sites before we found one solid enough to hold us.
