The diploma for my Master’s degree arrived in an envelope clearly marked DO NOT FOLD. The mail carrier did exactly the opposite and I found a document I’ve been working for years doubled over and crammed into my mailbox tonight. I am so angry and disappointed. This USPS office took all my hard work and made me feel absolutely worthless by ruining my diploma despite incredibly clear instructions.

I don't think most people realize, Working with the public is difficult. This past Saturday morning, the Team at the Dover Post office handled an unexpected situation with care and grace. A medical emergency with a woman (let's call her Gurtrude), with a lobby full of people. The Team moved quickly to call 911 and make sure Gurtrude was safe, and cleaning up the chunky mess she excreted. While all this was happening... rerouting the waiting line, and continued to serve cranky customers, continuously announcing the appreciation for everyone being "patient & sorry for the delay". Bravo to the team and their ability to handle whatever situation appears at their counter.

Saw this package left on the ground at the postboxes at the end of Adele drive. It wasn’t too big to fit in the special key boxes, and even if it was, it should have been left at the recipient’s door. I sure hope it wasn’t stolen before the resident found it. Please talk to any new drivers about what not to do.

Don't use this post office! I had a USPS priority package -- a medium box -- that I shipped from here and it never arrived. Around $100 worth of contents were lost, and I made the fateful error of trusting their delivery and recycled my receipt. It's the year 2021, and yet somehow they can't recover your record when you used their automated machine with your credit card. Never again! Only FedEx from now. I can only hope, I guess, that some postal employee is enjoying the gifts inside.
