Very quaint theater. It's clean and appears to be run mostly by volunteers. There's 2 flights of stairs to get to the main level. There's an elevator on the back side of you have trouble walking. Almost all of the seats have good visibility and sound. The seats are hard wood, not comfortable at all. Beware if you're tall and big, there's not a lot of leg room. There's a lot of great talent that comes to the Rochester Opera House & a lot of shows worth seeing. The concession stand consists of a popcorn machine, water and minimal bar. Before the show started we went up for popcorn, the lady didn't give us the popcorn because she said she only had 2 bags left and was going to pop more. She never popped any more! During intermission, we went back up and she gave out the 2 bags of the previous pop corn and said she wasn't making any popcorn, so we never got any popcorn. Why have the popcorn to begin with if you're only making it 1 time?

The Opera House is really great because being on the smaller side, there is not a bad seat in the house! We saw the Summer production of The Sound of Music and it was stellar! The gal who played Maria was delightful and winsome, with a great voice! The Mother Superior had an extraordinary voice! The Von Trapp children were each memorable! It was great to experience such excellent community theater!!

Went to watch my grandchildren in a play and the acoustics were amazing. Could hear just about all the kids on the stage.

We saw Mayor Pete here on Veteran's day and this place was lovely and Mayor Pete was amazing. I had to use my wheelchair and with my daughters patient help could manage. There's an elevator.

At the box office. I usually just have them hold the tickers at the window and get them at the performance.
They are not showing her as cancelled on their website or social media. I would call them to verify
Yes, there are stairs, but an elevator is available if needed. When I went I believe I used the front door but I think you can just use any entrance.
They Are Wicked Dope @ This Venue.
If you go to their web site you can see their list of plays, music and events. They produce several plays a year but also rent the space to other production companies, have concerts all kinds of things.
Not snowing anymore and no accumulation, I would assume so. I have attended shows there in way worse snow.
Do you need some?
Just check the web site. All info is listed there will available seating
Good question! I would guess no, but contact Opera House to ask.
