I love these guys, their mission and how they do it, but BEWARE that their fuel does NOT necessarily work in all systems. I purchased a new boiler and the biofuel broke a part on it just a few months after installation. Make sure that you don't assume that this will work in your boiler. Ask the distributor or landlord first.

I used B99 in my Biasi B10 from 2016-2018 and I had a mostly good experience, but had to clean it more often than usual and adjust the settings. They have made the B99 less easily available (or rather made it much easier to get B20 than B99), so I have since switched. Boiler definitely runs smoother on B20, but I'd still feel better if I could get B99 working better. I love that this company is developing this field.

As someone who heats an apartment, and as someone trying to reduce my carbon footprint, I have been exceptionally impressed with both Maine Standard Biofuels, their products, and expertise. Using their biodiesel for heating has not only given me some self-satisfaction, but also has granted me some peace of mind. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and addressed my concerns about heating with their fuel in my make of furnace. And I am certainly glad to not support the natural gas and petroleum industries. If you have any doubts or questions about biodiesel, for diesel vehicles or home heating, you should really give them a call.
