We're not "Resort" people. This cg is perfect for us. Gravel, lots of room, quiet, not crowded, pick your spot, register by blank envelope at the front door of the Museum. Enclose check or cash for stay and slip it thru the crack in the door. Be warned, if you pay with cash for a few days you may have to use multiple envelopes. We stayed 3 nights/$90 with discount and barely got envelope thru door crack. Never did see the "Old Crank" we talked to by phone. To bad this cg is not near our normal routes north/south, we'd make it a regular stop. And for a bonus we got to watch the first night of the Christmas light show in the park.

Very nice RV park with full hookups and a clean bath house. Conveniently located right across the street from Felts park in Galax. Looking forward to staying at Old Cranks again next year!

A little gem in the heart of Galax. Easy access to the New River Trail, restaurants & shops. Nice park across the road for dog-walking. No WIFI or TV signal. But it does have full hook-ups.

Great location, great price. Had everything we needed. Bathroom and hot shower. Lot was great and right next to a large park which we walked over to. Bathhouse was large and roomy, but a little on the dirty side. Might have been because we were here very early in the season. Slept here 1 night while driving through. Perfect for our needs!
