If you own a business and are looking to obtain coverage for your employees you should first look into how they handle dealing with claims etc. The amount of time I've spent on hold just waiting to talk to someone is disgusting. Information provided was poor every call and made me feel sorry for others who have had to go through the same process with them.

Claim adjusters will purposely drag cases beyond months and years. Why do I pay my premium if adjusters can't do their job and pay out their customers? Unum's higher up superiors promote this type of unethical behavior and tactics. Steer clear of Unum and seek out a competitors.
