Beautiful location facing the river with the sounds of the ocean beyond the sand dunes. The staff was accommodating and a pleasure to interact with. This was our (my wife and I) first stay at The Dunes and we will definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this well cared for immaculate property. We were made to feel welcome and the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our midweek getaway. What a nice property with a wonderful view that was convenient to everything .

Both Tammie and another afternoon staff member (I didn’t catch her name) I spoke with were accommodating and helpful and genuinely nice. Just a lovely place to stay. My husband and I had a two bedroom cottage. It was impeccably clean with lots of attention to small details, beautifully updated without losing its charm. I would definitely recommend the Dunes to anyone looking to stay near a great stretch of beach in Maine.
