Visited Quirk Subaru this weekend to test drive a Forester. Worked with their Sales Manager (unfortunately I did not get his card). Nice touch that he greeted me with a bottle of water. The dealership was busy and in the process of moving to a new location but they were able to get me a test drive that I wanted. I appreciated talking to the Manager about cars, pricing, incoming inventory and options. It was a good low pressure experience that got me the information I needed efficiently to help with our decision. I especially appreciated the real detailed information about the order process, timelines and delivery. If we decide to go with a Subaru, this was a good sales experience.

I was very disappointed with my 2022 Subaru Forester purchase from Quirk Subaru as neither my sales manager Hailey nor her manager Tim knew that entire STARLINK feature is banned in MA. We bought this car for my mother who works night shift so were looking for basic safety feature of the STARLINK. We were told only remote starter would not work and rest all features of starlink would work. After we got the car home and after being on call with starlink support for 3 hours we found out that starlink is entirely banned in MA. We called Haily's manager TIm Long and even he was not aware that entire starlink doesn't work in MA and kept saying only remote starter does not work. On the phone I told him to help me get startlink up and running on my car and if you can't do that then I had paid over MSRP so at-least refund that or else in worse case I want an option to return the car as this car is lemon without starlink and not what I was promised. On the phone he assured he understands and will call later in the day with options. He called end of the day and all he said was sorry he can't do anything. FYI, if you are buying 2022 Subaru for MA then be careful and don't buy from this location as sales representative themselves are misguiding. If I had knew this before buying the car then I would have gone for a different one since even after spending 31800+tax the basic safety features does not work. I would have given them good review with benefit of doubt that they are not aware of subaru policy, but they did not do anything to make my experience better.
