Overpriced for what you get and taste is average to below average depending on the dish! I wish it was better because I like to support local restaurants. Unfortunately, they just aren’t producing the best quality Persian food that they should be since they are Persian! Another issue is like other reviewers posted, they charge extra for drink refills as well as every little thing. And the rice is very abundant—way too much. Tabouli tasted strongly of onion and nothing else. Had a ton of chopped green onion and otherwise flavorless. Meats were ok, some quite salty. Maust' Moosier and Maust' Khiar were tasty as was the hummus. Service was good. The place is small but accommodates a good number of people and it’s fairly quiet. There’s a small bar and outside patio; a large wine list, and yummy Persian ice cream. It might be best to try it at lunch—perhaps you’d get a taste for less $$ and decide for yourself.

I ordered (to go) 2 skewers of kabob with rice and a salad and side of dolma (which by the way was not home made, it was the ones from the can food aisle) paid $50 which is ridiculously expensive even for Scottsdale!! And the food wasn’t all that to be honest! I’ve had better Persian/Arabic food, better flavors. So if you want to pay close to $50 for a plate with a Salad go there my friends! I’m disappointed! Won’t go back! And the restaurant is not even fancy! It’s a box in Scottsdale! Good luck!

This was my mom and I’s first experience with Persian food. We came with my Uncle and cousin who have eaten this kind of cuisine many times. The first thing we had was their pita bread. It was hot, seemed fresh and delicious! I wasn’t thrilled that it didn’t come with something to dip it in but it was free after all. My uncle and cousin ordered the Maust' Khiar which I didn’t like. I’m not big on cucumber or mint though so I don’t blame the restaurant for that. Several of us ordered the Chicken Barg-Sultani (pictured) the plate was large but for $24 I expected to see more meat. I thought the rice that came with it was okay. It didn’t have very much flavor but I still enjoyed it. The chicken was juicy and flavorful...definitely my favorite part. However, the koobideh is not something I would eat again. It was basically very dry and bland hamburger meat on a skewer. My mom and I (mostly) enjoyed our dishes although no one liked the koobideh and we didn’t eat much of it. My uncle and cousin who have eaten this kind of food several times said it was “okay” overall. I would eat here again but next time I’ll just get the chicken. 😺

Lovely place with very good Persian food. Everything I had here was excellent. Beautiful interior, friendly family ambience. Their bread tastes homemade and fresh. The server Leyla was friendly and helpful and she was there all the time.
