No frills but perfect for the young hockey player. They do have a warm room with snack machines and heaters over the bleachers. Just no snack bar, pro shop, or athletic center.

I don't see any public skate at West Side.
We do not have public skate at WSA. We have Stick and Puck Monday-Friday 9-11 am no weekends and costs $7 Public skate is held at the JFK Tuesday 9-11am, Thursday 9-11am and Sat and Sunday 2-4. Cost I believe is $3 for seniors and $5 per person
