Petco on Oro Valley offers superb grooming to our pets

Brought in my puppy (not her first time being groomed) to this PetCo because it's close by and has good reviews. Was told once I got there that I would not be able to have her fully groomed/shaved because she is a puppy and they try not to do too much at once. While this is understandable, I wish that this was communicated to me when I made the appointment. It was also frustrating that the puppy bath/sanitary trim was the same price as the full groom. When my pup was returned to me, she was hacked up and looked worse than when I brought her there. Her sanitary trim was patchy and the fur cut around her eyes looked awful as well. While I understand she might have been a wiggle worm, it seemed that this cut was not taken seriously at all and that the groomer did not even try (that was how it appeared, anyway.). I now have to bring her to another groomer to be fixed. The cherry on top was the disappointing customer service. Instead of communicating to me any issues/telling me how my pup did during the service, she handed me the receipt and told me to go to the register with no further words. She seemed annoyed/inconvenienced by me. As a pet owner and professional that works in animal medicine, this is completely unacceptable. Alyssa, you need to sharpen your skills and focus on your customer service. You will not build clientele this way.

One of the nicest, cleanest and less crowded Petco stores. Seems to always have a full stock of products. Knowledgeable staff that is always happy to help. Great late night opening hours!
