First I'd like to thank the Frechette team for their professionalism and customer service. I had been using another company that was raising their fees $20 to $30 every year. This was my second year with Frechette and the cost was the same as last year. Adam has been my technician both years and noticed that my chimney lining had separated from my stove. We had the chimney repointed last winter and another company had replaced the vent cap on top of the chimney. I believe they pulled the cap up causing the liner to separate from the stove. Adam noticed this and reconnected the liner. My stove is now burning much better than it had been and I feel I have him to thank.

After years of inspections from other companies and being told we were in good shape. We contacted Frechette Chimney for a thorough inspection after faint smells of exhaust at random times. With their state of the art camera inspection equipment they were able to find a void in my flue that was never seen by anyone where the builder was dumping the flue into an open area behind my fireplace then continued up with the clay tiles. Once discovering this we put in a stainless steel liner. Everything was done very professionally and on time with great communication. Now there is no more exhaust smell, my boiler is more efficient and the fears we had of using our fire place is gone. Thank you for taking your time to do the job right and making my house safer for my family.
