Good selection of manga, mainstream, and indie trade paperbacks. New comic monthlies. Theres a relatively large "local comic artist" section with comics, stickers. They have a kids/YA section, comics related toys/stuffies for kids, comic related collectable toys for adults. They sell Pokemon card sets, single cards, and "mystery sets." Most importantly the staff is knowledgable and friendly - no Android's Dungeon vibe here.

I love going in here. I usually meander in once in a while if I'm waiting for car repairs in town, or something like that. there are plenty of current and classic comics available, as well as merch. best part is local indie comics, including one person I went to school with, it's cool to see! the space is nice too. some comic book shops feel old and dusty oddly enough. but Paper Asylum has nice bright lighting, wood floors and just feels cleaner and brighter.

Great to visit this shop in the quaint and laid back town of Beverley. They were super friendly and patient with my crazy, young children. We picked up a few comics and some cool action figures, plus a doll for my daughter. The kids section was also really great!

Yes, we are an authorized dealer and local drop-off center for CGC. We do not charge anything for sending your books to be graded, we simply pass along the costs incurred by CGC.

Everyone must wear a mask. No more than ten customers in the shop at any one time. We installed hand sanitizer dispensers at both doors for customers to use before entering and upon exiting. A sneeze guard was installed at the register to provide additional safety at checkout. Surfaces are disinfected periodically throughout the day and at the end of the day.
