My first time here and it won’t be my last night. We were out on a Tampa Bay Adventure and stumbled across here. I was wondering why everyone was coming out with a pink drink at 9am and now I see why. The best strawberry milkshake I ever had. It was nice to do some produce shopping and not spend $100 bucks. Also had a great mixed cup of boiled peanuts. Some salted and some spicy. It was a perfect pit stop to our next stop. Hoping to come back for the strawberry shortcake.

We are from "Up North" and were passing Plant City through on a vacation trip to the warm weather. Someone we bumped into told us that the Parkesdale Farm Market is a MUST GO TO PLACE to enjoy Strawberry shortcake. SO we went....... We have NEVER TASTED STRAWBERRIES WITH SO MUCH FLAVOR !! and don't be afraid of the long lines, these people are able to churn through customer lines at a very rapid pace. And there is plenty of seating outside in a festive atmosphere. Plenty of parking in front and behind. Besides the incredible strawberries, the market also has a huge selection of really healthy fruits and vegetables. We even saw a local restaurateur / cook doing his shopping there! They also have a nice gift shop where you can get the local strawberry jam or strawberry preserves. It's delicious too. So we are thankful that we found out about this place and would highly recommend!

Always a favorite stop for us when we are visiting the area. This place stays busy, and for good reason. The strawberry sweets are to die for good. Great selection of fresh produce. One would be amiss to post up an opportunity to check this place out.

Amazing strawberry shortcake and strawberry milkshakes! Don’t fear the long line! The employees move at warp speed and keep everyone moving! The produce is fresh and the plants are priced well. The strawberries themselves - amazing! Ripe and sweet with the best flavor!

Our strawberry shortcakes are seasonal items. The official first day for Strawberry Shortcake is January 2nd. We usually serve them thru early April.
Well I enjoyed your Strawberries so much, and maintain that quality so all of us can enjoy them. Thank you, Ron
The shortcake 🍰 is huge, delicious and well worth the long wait in line and great price
Hello, we stop serving shortcake mid April.
Again as most establishments all the new normal masks, social distancing signage, as well as constantly disinfecting.
Yes, sugar-free stawberries are available with or without ice cream and with or without shortcake.
Yes. They only serve fresh strawberrys. Thats why they don't offer it year round. They normally start selling it in January until about April or June I believe.
They were good..
Strawberry shakes are available year around. Official first day of strawberry shortcake is January 2nd.
I'm so glad I made it in time to have my strawberry shortcake. I flew in April 20th and I don't think I made it to Parksdale until the day before I left, which was April 27. So I guess I must have gotten lucky to have been able to get one before I left back for home. It was absolutely wonderful as usual ❤️
Yes
Strawberry shortcake is available from January 2nd to mid April! I haven't seen an exact date for when that is. They are open every day in April except for Easter Sunday and that following Monday!
Yep and they are Florida Strawberries!!! Go get em! Love this place!!!
I dint think they will be selling the strawberry sundae or the shortcake till January 2nd. They do have the strawberry shakes for purchase.
November to April -open 7 days a week. May to October - open Tuesday to Sunday. Closed Monday.
Strawberry season only...but Farmers market is active and shakes with strawberries. Fun place.
Plants themselves within next couple of weeks. Berries start showing up early to mid December.
I know that they still have the same owners.
Yes we do.
Hello! From May to October our hours are Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 6pm. From November to April we are open everyday 9am to 6pm.
Doubtful, I pull one also, and wouldn't attempt it. There are several campground nearby and it's a nice area to spend a night or two.
I'm just a drive in customer you would have to contact their website for that info.
Locally grown berries but I don't know if that market offers u'pick, you may need to find the grower and go direct
We do not.
We are open to the public. You have the option to order produce online for curbside pickup.
Hi! Not right now. Sorry. Shortcake season is January to March.
I asked one time and they said until the Strawberries were gone.
Wonderful place. All kinds of veggies and fruits. Of course strawberrys galore.
They might have them during the fruit season, but go by anyhow, you'll enjoy the visit to Parksdale, don't forget the famous strawberry shortcake while your there..🍓🍓🍓🍰🍰🍨🍨
It varies each year. It depends upon the strawberry crop. Usually at the end of Dec. Or the beginning of the year is when they start. They may be available now. If not I would suggest a strawberry shake. They are multiple award winning and the best I have ever tasted anywhere. If they do have strawberry shortcake bring a cooler and get some frozrn strawberry shakes. You will be glad you did. Quality produce there as well as flowers and plants at reasonable prices.
I don't know for sure. . . .give them a call. I was at another place a few days ago and they were selling flats for. . . . .$45/flat!!!!!!
Local supermarkets get first strawberries , as the season rolls on more and more strawberries are available. February and March are abundant months, Strawberry festival February 27 through March 8 2020 will be the best time for strawberries, and then will signal the beginning of the season end.
We do not have them right now. We hope to have them soon.
Open
Strawberry season is the only time they serve shortcake. It's usually mid December to beginning of April. You can get an amazing milkshake now though 😉
None that I saw, I did (4) lbs. In 30 minutes, not sandy at all!
Available at our store and online www.parkesdale.com
Plenty right now
I know publix sells dry ice
Yes
They say until mid April...that would be two bad things happening...tax day and no more shortcake...hurry hurry.
We are open Year round. Strawberry milkshakes are served all year. Last day of shortcake will be April 15th.
Probably April 15th. After April 1st, we ask that you call to verify shortcake availabilitily. Our number is 813-752-0502. Thanks!
I would wait on the season but I have gotten them there before, I love their black eye peas
Hi! Our strawberry milkshakes are served all year long. Strawberry shortcakes begin at the end of December and go through April 1-15 depending on the weather. In May we change to our summer menu which includes pineapple Dole Whip, popsicles, all fruit-filled milkshakes, sundaes, parfaits and banana splits.
Give us a call at 813-752-0502.
They take cash and cards, no worries!
9a.m to 6p.m I think
This is a farm to table market. All produce is grown on their farms. Not sure how much more vegan you could get. Ask for the organic sections.
No pets allowed. They have signs. Pets allowed only in the parking areas. They say they could loose their food service license.
They have a field next door you can park in. It will be to the left of it when looking at the building.
When we were there on Tuesday, 1/22/2019, they did.
Sorta. When you get to the window you can tell the staff you need the berries separate from the cake because you are traveling. They charge extra for that. I suggest bringing a cooler with you to keep the berries cold.
I've never seen any. Try to sit in the covered area and dress warm when it's cool!
Is a good chance that you get it , call the manager the close at 6pm .
Strawberry sundaes are available late April to end of December. Strawberry shortcakes are available now to mid April.
We do not have the 3 oz size ones. We have 16 oz.
Not right now. They should be back late November- December.
I've never seen any in there but I'll keep my eyes open. They usually have pretty much just the basics.
I'm glad Parksdale is not closer to me... I'd look like a meatball with legs. LoL I love their shakes, I love their Strawberry shortcake and I absolutely LOVE their prices and the cozy area where you can sit, chat...and enjoy a DELICIOUS treat. :-) P.S. I don't mind a few extra pounds, you should mine closer to me. 🤣😂😄
Yes we do!
Winter months, not sure exactly. Great place even without the fresh strawberries. Strawberry milkshakes are great and so are the sundays.
