I was looking for a certain item and they had it and it was priced very reasonable. A few of the isles were narrow for me to walk through but I guess when you have a large inventory space is not an issue.

Sadly, the owner of Patten's Sporting Goods is quite a mean and condescending man. I was treated with disrespect do to my lack of hunting experience. The owner humiliated me and clearly did not want my business. He has lost the business of someone purchasing not just a rifle, but a complete hunting setup. Do not waste your time with this business. I have since been to a couple other shops in NH and had a warm welcoming experience. (I will not mention the other business names here, as I do not want this review to sound like a pitch for another gun shop, but I would encourage you to shop else where and you will be happy you did so).

Nice selection and great service. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful as my son bought his first hunting rifle. He answered every question my 11 year old could throw at him and never talked down to him. No pressure sale, an overall great experience.
