Great way to experience history! Well maintained, clean, and just plain cool ship you can explore. If you bring a receipt from the aquarium next door they take 1/2 off your admission.

My wife and I both attended the Halloween event and toured the SS American Victory during the day. They have done a great job rehabbing the ship to its former glory. You have the option of a guided tour, or a self-paced tour. You'll be able to explore multiple levels of the ship and interact with it. Definitely worth the price of admission!

I visited the ship with a couple friends recently. We enjoyed our day exploring this historic ship. I have been on several old military ships, but this was the first Cargo Ship that I’ve toured. We had a beautiful February day so it was very pleasant to tour. I recommend seeing her.

Interesting place, I wasn't expecting to find this museum on my trip and I learned something, I really can't ask for more. I'm sure you will enjoy it a lot more than I did if you have interest in ships and/war/history. I think it would be a perfect stop for kids.

They have discounts also. Look them up on Groupon for more savings.
Use parking garage across street from aquarium. Not free but inexpensive and can walk to ship and aquarium from there.
You can see the boilers from an observation deck above the engine room. Perhaps you can ask for special permission to see it closer. Call them and ask.
I went there for a ROTC field trip and it was $5 for me and im 16 but if i had to guess the Air Force paid the difference because it was for ROTC.
Currently it's at sparkman's Wharf
I did not see any pets or service animals. The "tour" includes open stairs to navigate between decks & narrow ship hallways. You can call to check.
I'm not sure, I don't see any dog! But you can ask directly to the website!
You can park right in front of the ship next to the entrance
Not at all but you can find food in the area.
Im unsure about that. If you could thete would be no room anyways. People flock all over thete even on non Holidays. Good luck
I don't think so, but if you enlist you can sleep in all the ships you like... Probably.
This ship has many ladders and stairs to go from level to level and there are also many narrow passageways. I would not personally consider it to be handicapp accessible but they may have an elevator .I would call them and ask them about this.
yes, but only on special occasions. get on their email list for notifications
