I’ve had terrible experiences with my dog’s vet office towards the end of her life. When we knew the time had come, I called around/researched to find an office that I was comfortable with. I’m glad I made the choice to come to this location. The staff was understanding from the moment I called, supportive through the appointment, the vet was amazing and helped me understand my decision. Putting your pet down is NEVER an easy thing to do and it was my first time. Our husky was handicapped, in pain and an old timer. The staff here definitely made it comfortable for not only my Zoe, but for us as well. It’s been a week and today I received a card with notes from all the staff and it really touched my heart. Thank you to all of you - if you read this! When the time comes, and I decide to get another pet - I’ll make sure this is the only place that takes care of them!

I can not Express the gratitude that I have for Dr Brown, Susie and the rest of the amazing staff. We went to like seven other vets and nobody could help our dog or would even try without charging us $1,300. They went above and beyond not only to accommodate us but to educate us and be straight about what was going on with our Riley. I definitely recommend and I wish there was more vets like them. Thank you guys from the bottom of our heart.

This is my primary vet. They are always very kind and appointments are pretty quick. I had to have one of my cats put to sleep here years ago. They were very sweet and compassionate- I received a signed card later from the staff. Recently brought my new puppy in and they were very helpful with answering all of my questions!

I have a dog that needs to be put down. They saw her less than a month ago. I called to ask about them doing it. I was told to bring the dog in for a scheduled appt. ($$) and the vet will look at her. Then the staff can decide if someone wants to take the dog... and if not, I can take her to Humane Society to be put down. So I pay for a visit so that the staff can decide if they want the dog? Then go to the Humane Society anyway? Ridiculous.

I saw a video where a lady was being abused by her boyfriend and she slipped them a note asking for help and the staff helped is this the same place?
They gave me three choices to choose from when I had my dog creamated.
More than likely yes. The people at DAH are great and truly care about the animals. They accepted 5 tnr cats from me while i was setting traps looking for my lost cat. However as an animal hospital they are a for profit business. The best thing is call them and ask if there are any discounts or call the county animal control and see if there is anyone who can help
Deland animal hospital is open 24/7
No, I believe they are owned by VCA. That is a Mars company. Mars owns Banfield.
That would depend on what would be needed to diagnose the issue. I think their "emergency hours" price is $65 for a basic exam without any testing.
You can take them to Redinger Spay/Neuter Clinic for $25 https://www.halifaxhumanesociety.org/spay-neuter-clinic/index
Not sure on the price you can call them. They are very helpful and compassionate.
She might have gotten into something take her to deland animal hospital they are very kind and affordable
