Wow, what a great experience we had at outpost range! I wouldn't call myself a shooting expert by any means but I just moved into the area and my family visited and wanted to shoot my guns. I took three complete newbies over to outpost and the experience from start to finish was professional, safe and very high quality. All three members of my party including one who is very anxious around guns felt extremely safe and in the hands of knowledgeable staff. Our safety officer at the pistol range was friendly, informative and gave lessons which he really didn't need to for no cost. They have a shotgun, rifle, archery and pistol range which is pretty great. A nice indoor shop and bathroom which leads to various outdoor ranges with cover. A full gun shop with decently priced weapons, accessories and ammo was available. Only downside is maybe the single day cost but as a local I plan to get the yearly membership asap. Do not miss out on this incredible range!

I have been looking for a different shooting range, A police friend of mine told me about this place. This is now my favorite place to go. You can get your ammunition take a conceal carry class, they not only have a pistol range they also have a rifle range and archery too. They have shirts conceal carry purses, knives, I can’t remember everything so please take a drive and check it out yourself. You’ll be in love

Range is a great place to spend a afternoon. Recently took their Concealed Carry Class, taught by instructor Alex. It was a very interesting and informative class that provides a new perspective. Highly recommend, even for people who may just interested in learning more about firearms.

I just moved to the area and brought my dad here for his Birthday. What a great facility and very friendly staff. We used the tactical pistol area as well as the long range rifle area. I look forward to coming back and getting some solid training sessions in.

Hello! Yes we offer concealed carry class around 3-4 times per month. Next class is this up coming Friday! Give us a call at 352-364-4843 anytime Thursday through Monday 10am-4pm and we can answer any questions you may have.
Outpost Range offers steel targets at the Pistol range, Rifle range, Competition ranges and at Range Events that you may shoot. The firing lines also offer target stands with backers where you can attach stick on or paper targets. Unfortunately due to different levels of steel quality and design, steel target shooting would be approved only on our targets. Outpost Range opened for three days before Christmas so folks could come down and tour the facility. We had a great turn out over those three days even though the firing lines were not live. During the holidays we closed our gates to finish the final details. We are shooting for mid January to open for our Safety Orientation Program and then firing lines go live. If you receive our email updates we will be sending out new information very soon on Range Card fees,hours of operation and the process to use the firing lines.
