My best buddy returned from a bush teaching job and had a couple of her packages shipped here by Gold Streak. The tote and huge box arrived promptly and in excellent condition; we did not have to wait long for them to be brought over from the airport. I took some wonderful sunset photos from the parking area during our very short wait. This is definitely service to remember!

There's not a limit on how many boxes to ship. When I dropped my packages off they took out a pallet and weighed them all together. I think there's a limit on the weight/size of the package, so I'd recommend individual boxes over a big container. Check the Alaska Cargo website, there's a price calculator that's pretty accurate. The price calculator depends on the weight, dimensions, and distance traveled. Not sure where in Seattle the Alaska Air Cargo is, usually at the airport.
You might be better off trying Northern Air Cargo they have regular flights to Nome.
I imagine your local non emergency troopers, medical examiner, or funeral homes would know.
