I have been here twice since March. So the first part will be the latest visit, last week. During the heat I became super dehydrated, by my own hand, at 11pm, I had to go to the ER for I'V fluids. I was treated great, everyone was on their toes. The doctor was the only MD on shift and was doing great. He was young and good looking, so it really didn't matter about other stuff going on. My blood work was great and I got to go home after 3 hours. The only thing that went wrong was the RN put me in a wheelchair and put me at the front door, just left me there. The rest of the story just shouldn't have occurred. I was in a car accident in March, I had 8 broken ribs and my chest bone was broken as well. I spent 3 days in PCU and the rest in a double room. With the few really bad aides, most of the girls were excellent, they are all very overworked. I was not the best patient needing to move in bed, having to stay flat, I tried so hard to be nice, but a couple of the girls just got on my nerves. The nurses for the most part did their job, they pitched in to help the aides, a couple acted like they were better than us. I liked that I had the same doctor for my 17day stay, but the best thing I got once I could eat was the salmon for baked fish day. You could pick your own food if you are non-restricted. I had to quit smoking abruptly and that may have played into my mood, but here I am 125days later still cigarette free. And as a woman who always had to pee (from all the water), the fancy new pee catcher is a godsend. For those reading, just remember the hospital is not a vacation for anyone, make your life easier making life easier for those helping you.

Recently had a 3 day stay, in their ICU because of a stroke. Wonderful care here, professional, competent and so obliging. Had to press the case a but but did get a clear explanation of my condition and what I could expect in the future. First class operation

I really appreciate the ER staff at check in the front desk receptionist was fast and friendly upon arrival. The ER nurses were great. Dr. Staley and Thomas were awesome!!! Although it took 2 1/2 hours to get my CT scan...and then another almost hour and a half to find out my results from a nice and kind RN I felt kinda not important to who ever took over after Dr. Staley. As this provider never came to my room to check on me or give me my results. I had further questions that I would have felt more comfortable discussing with a doctor not an RN. Other than that everything else was upto standard. Rudy, was also very helpful giving a warm blanket. ๐๐ฝ Thank you St. Francis for your care and friendly attention. โค๏ธ

What great service I received here. I had major pain in my stomach and went to the ER here. When I saw the parking lot my hopes of being seen right away were diminished. My pain said go inside now. Iโm telling you Iโm glad I did! From the first person that asked me my information in the intake area from the very last nurse I saw, was absolute excellent service. I ended up having to get surgery done that day and be admitted to the hospital for one night and despite all that I went through.. pain wise, the experience and the staff were so sweet, kind and expedient and answered all my questions! I couldnโt be more happier with my experience at Saint Francis hospital and ER. Iโm sure Iโm leaving some staff out but I definitely appreciate all of them thank you the front office ladies that check you in, in the emergency room. Thank you to Akeila,Candi, Dr. Ben Friedman, Dr. Andrew Oliver,Garrett,Michelle, Robin(cat scan)Bridget, Kevin, Barbra ,Joanna,Marissa, all the girls and guys in the operating room and anyone else who made my experience so much better than I ever thought I could have. Thank you-thank you for your service ,you are truly angels especially in this time of Covid.
