Only been once, but wouldn’t bother again. Far below one world standard for a lounge in general. One star for the decent beer selection, but then they charge for a lot of their drinks which is silly for a premium lounge. The staff is clueless on entry unless you’re flying business class and you have to argue for half an hour to get in despite being one world elite on an international ticket - not too mention they’re just rude. The food is really really bad. Like worse than old Taco Bell bad. It was also quite a mess when we went in - bad experience mainly based on staff, perhaps, but still wouldn’t really recommend unless maybe they’d begin to accept priority pass.

ENJOYING SOME DRINKS 🍸 AT THE ALASKAN AIRPORT LOUNGE ANCHORAGE. On a long layover, it's definitely worth going to visit the Alaska Airline Lounge to enjoy some good drinks and snacks.

At the time of this review, I was a red eye traveler past midnight using Priority Pass. Check in was fast and staff was super friendly. Taking into account COVID-19 restrictions, it was a great place to stop and relax until they closed at 1 am. They had three Alaskan beers on tap, a cider on tap, wine, and an assortment of spirits. Food options were limited because of COVID, but fresh vegetables, fruit, reindeer sausage, and cheese among other typical snacks were enough to do the trick. As long as one keeps things in perspective with COVID-19, Alaska delivers what you want in a lounge: A comfortable place to relax while you wait for your flight with some decent food and beverage options to hold you over between meals.

Their hours haven’t changed. Still open from 05:00 until 01:00. They have a couple gluten free snacks available. Boxes of snacks available for purchase. Tea and coffee machine up and running. Several beers on tap. Wine and liquor stocked. There are usually two soups available. Today there was a broccoli cheddar and a chicken sweet potato kale soup. The current complimentary barista special is cinnamon and spice latte. I had 8 hours to kill in the airport. It was worth it to have a chill place to relax.

No. First class tickets, alaska lounge or one world alliance lounge member gives you access.
Yes. Anyone with a scheduled Alaska Airlines flight can purchase a pass. You cannot if scheduled on another airline unless they have a reciprocal agreement with Alaska.
Yes it is a paid first class ticket
