I really understand where all the bad reviews come from as I have faced similar issues. It's near impossible to get an appointment for an emergency. They are ALWAYS FULLY booked, even for a follow up. I am starting to not see the value in their plans being that alot is not covered and extremely difficult to even book an appointment/even worse a follow up. The receptionist can really use some training in customer service. I requested a supervisor/manager for my issue on Saturday and still no call. I really don't think they care about their customers. Which leaves the question, should we trust them with our babies?

Disenchanted with Ft. Myers location. Should have read reviews before I joined. I inquired about plan w/receptionist she gave me info no prices and told me to go on line. Did not know you leave your pet for 2to 3 hours in a pen until they get to her. You have no idea about vets, not allowed to meet them, 1st wellness check they tan blood work and said her Lendl were a little elevated. 3 weeks later I go in my fur baby was sick, told me 2 to 3 hours they would call, I said no I would wait. They ran full blood work again $227. Same report, levels are elevated referred me to another Vet, Colonial or Blue Pearl. I was upset vet came out to give referral. He said they are a clinic and she needed to see one of mentioned vets. I did, they hydrated her, gave a shot for nausea and pain. $350. Total for the day $570. So what good is this plan. If they couldn’t handle that I don’t think they are qualified to clean her teeth. Went elsewhere. I still have to pay $470. Balance of a plan. I called other Banfield’s in different areas to see how they handled new customers interested in the plan. Totally different.Explained everything and didn’t brush me off. I also called Ft. Myers other Banfield location not impressed. Emailed their headquarters no reply. My next stop might be an attorney. This is wrong.

The staff here was very compassionate when my husband and I had to make THAT difficult decision for our beloved pet. It was confirmed that it was the right one for her, because when we left there was a beautiful rainbow over the building.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
