Buyers beware. The pricing in this store is rarely accurate - they will have “specials” which are advertised as one price, but the price magically increases when they ring you up. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I am so tired of being surprised at the register when I shop in here. It’s like playing a game of price tag roulette whenever you pick something up; will it be the price they say it is, or will it be 30-40% more?! Who knows! The teenaged staff is also not equipped to solve the issues, or even help you locate what you need. The ones I’ve met don’t know anything about leather of the stuff they sell in the store. This last visit, I drove 2 hours to buy things here - almost $200 worth of items for a small project - and was so disgusted, I left without most of the stuff I needed because they tried their bait-and-switch game AGAIN. I do not want to shop with a store that treats its customers this way. It’s slack and dishonest. Tandy, you have lost a loyal customer who spends quite a bit in your store annually.

Such an awesome place! Went in the other day with a last minute request for some help on dying a leather cuff that I needed in a different color for a wedding and the employees were so helpful! Not only did they answer my questions, but they actually helped show me how to do the whole process. Everyone was friendly and helpful, they really saved me with my time crunch! I will be back for all my future leather purchases! Big thank you to the employees at Tandy Leather, you guys are awesome!

From classes during the week and weekend, to just going in with question. These folks are knowledgeable and always willing to help, without talking to you like you're an idiot.
