I was very impress on how Dr. Douglas Prevost was explaining the surgery situation and saying that machine that have with blood circulation that I take it home for a couple weeks. I was so surprised and saying about give shot for blood clots. That never happened to me with the other surgery. I am so pleased and appreciate Dr. Prevost is and the staff was very nice and professional. Thank you so much.❤️

This team has previously helped my wife and now Dr. Kerr is helping me. My experience with this group has been very good, the entire team is made up of people whose competence and compassion are both obvious. Every time I interact with AFOC I feel like I am dealing with people who actually want to do their job which seems all too rare these days. I trust these folks with my health and my families and that's probably the highest praise I can give a provider.

Dr. Kerr was very rushed. He didn’t ask me questions, or listen to me when I was telling him relevant information. He didn’t tell me what or why he was doing any of the physical tests. Everything he said was very fast, hard to understand, and left no room for me to ask questions or clarify. He prescribed me PT and a prescription that I didn’t even find out about until I was checking out. It was an unpleasant experience that left me feeling confused and like a very low priority. I don’t recommend him.

I had a major shoulder surgery following getting caught in an Avalanche and Dr. Sparks did an incredible job. The staff were all very professional and helpful. It was my first surgery, but Dr. Sparks and the staff were so kind and well trained, I was not nervous at any point during the process. I am now on the road to getting back to the activities that I Love thanks to AFOC.

Questions & Answers

Is arthroscopy often needed for a fit 80 year old man who was told that he needs a hip replacement? He has been waiting for his hip replacement since the start of covid so has lost some fitness and his xrays show more arthritic changes.

Hi Katherine, Please make an appointment with one of our providers, I'm afraid I can't answer that question without an exam and medical history.

Do either Dr. Prevost or Dr. Sparks use the anterior approach for hip replacements? and how many has each of them done?
