Not very happy with my experience with this shop. Their policies and the saddle brand policies do not seem to help the buyers investment or find the proper fitted saddle. I paid a saddle fitter to fit my horse, bought an expensive saddle and tried many pads, it did not work after 2 rides. And they told me there is nothing they can do, they cant loss money after I asked to exchange it. I am the one losing money. I now have to play the saddle pad game to find a pad that works with the saddle that does not fit. I hired a professional fitter for this purpose. * Update: 2 days after posting this review, the Tack Shop of Ocala contacted me and said they would allow me to return the saddle for a refund IF I TOOK DOWN this review. Prior, they told me their policies wont allow an exchange due to them losing money. This shows they were only willing to help with an exchange if i took down this review, and were only concerned with the public review being seen, not with helping me with an exchange. Why not just refund the money and not reference taking down the review??? Why not refund the second purchase I made from them for almost $400? I told them i have already made plans with another fitter and will not need their assistance. The person then explained to me how she would bend the rules for me, this clearly shows inconsistency in policies which is not good business in my opinion. I feel it's important to share my experience in case someone else experiences this and doesn't know what to think or do. I also purchased a saddle pad from them only to then find out that it was half the price online.

They do have both Western and Engliish saddles. A variety of sizes and styles, whether it's for shows or pleasure riding.

Yes, we do saddle fitting on site at tack shack. Just call and make an appointment. If you want someone to come to you, I know a few reps that will do that, but you would need to let us know what brand saddle you are interested in. If you bring your horse to tack shack, we have many saddles to try.

Yes they can. Also Seminole Feeds has a leather shop too. Dave that owned Tack Shack is there it is called Ocala Leather.
March 24th and 25 is the next Horsey yard sale!
They did have a whole section dedicated to repairs and l would think reconditioning too.
