The owners are great; there is a great story behind this place and the breed and the owners spins a nice tale. Also, these are some of the most beautiful horses I’ve seen.

Gypsy Gold Farm is owned by a man named Dennis who has an undying passion for these marvelous horses and the gypsy culture. He is an amazing speaker and his presentation was very educational. My group and I had a lovely morning on his beautiful acreage exploring and feeding these peaceful giants. ps. Dennis has lots of chairs for all weary legs to take a rest ;)

If you are planning a trip to Ocala, Gypsy Gold Horse Farm is a Must See! Dennis, the owner is turning 73 and winding down. He currently gives the tour and the story behind this place is historical, memorable and I can muster the words to say positively emotional. The animals are beautiful. You can see the staff interact with them and care for them. The cost per person is nothing for what you get for. Go Now while Dennis is still hosting the tour!

Enjoyed visiting the Gypsy Horse Farm with my 9 year old son! Beginning of tour is spent visiting and petting a few of the horses while in their stalls or viewing the parrots (about 20 minutes). Next up is an outside presentation by the owner on Gypsy Horse history and the farm (45 minutes). Coloring is provided for kids and you can get up and walk around during presentation when the kids get to antsy. After the presentation is a walking tour to visit the horses, donkeys and goats to pet and take pics. Lastly, is a little gift shop and a free mini donkey for the kids. Also, at any time you can grab a bottled water or popsicle from the outside fridge. We look forward to visiting in the future as new educational interactions are added.

Hi Shanette, yes we are animal lovers, and dogs are allowed as long as they are on leash. We look forward to your visit. Gypsy Gold
We went without a reservation but just so they know how many folks to expect I think a reservation would be better.
Hi Terry, if you cannot attend the tour, we can either reschedule, or refund the purchase. Thank you. (Gypsy Gold)
I would recommend calling them.
Hi Richard, there is walking in this tour, but not much more than one would do if grocery shopping for the week. The terrain is more uneven and sandy.
Yes, you sure can. They only run tours on certain days, but they do run them Fridays. Here's a link: https://gypsygold.com/book-a-tour/
When my wife and I went in January 2019 it was $20 each. Check the FB page for updates. Great tour, she now volunteers.
Go online to their website it will give you all information I really enjoyed this place. It's worth going...
They do one tour a day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Starts at 10AM each of those days. You can check available dates and book directly on their site at www.gypsygold.com.
$20 per person for a 2 hour tour. Group discounts are sometimes available as well.
It's best to call ahead to make sure they don't have a large group touring that day. We went with a group and bought the tickets ahead. But I'm sure they accommodate walk ins, as long as there's not a huge group already there. Best bet is to call ahead.
