A fascinating tour on so many fronts and you can't beat the price of admission! The tour is guided by a family member who is extremely knowledgeable about the town's history and who provides loving antidotes and details about the ranching family that owns it and how the town came to be - the people in this story are absolutely compelling! I highly recommend the time and effort to come here if you love the history of the old west, ghost towns or, just a good story!

What a find! Worth every minute. Town that existed before Tombstone! Dan is an incredible guide, lives on site with his wife, knows everything. They are part of the original settler family. So many original buildings! The stage stop, the hotel, the vault, the museum and more! The gift shop has great souvenirs, very reasonable. I’ll definitely return, especially if they open the original hotel to paying guests!

Great experience, I have visited many ghost towns and this is now one of my favorites, Dave was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly, answered any questions, I loved this tour because it's not commercialized in any way, and no bs in the stories, I would highly recommend. P.s a great Harvest Host location.

The best tour I have been on in a long time or maybe ever. I left almost knowing personally who the citizens were of this ghost town. The tour guide shares such rich history about the land and the people and how this mining town got started and kept going. So cool to step into history like that. The tour guide is a fantastic story teller and I barely noticed it was almost 100 degrees. I think it is so cool that the tour guide is in the family that brought this town up. He had a lot of wonderful stories to share. The tour was a lot of fun and I learned a lot! I highly recommend!
