I am just calling random shelters and assistance resource places looking for my son! The person I was talking to just sent me to another extension without saying a word to me, then when I called back I was hung up on. I am seriously worried about my son, no communication for almost a month! How dare you just hang up on me there can't be anything more rude!!!! ZERO STARS!!!!!!!

Dropped off some old suits and shoes. It’s been a while since I’ve been DTLA to donate and to serve at their lunch line. They serve 2,500 meals at lunch. Over a million meals a year. And their graduation and holiday services are so powerfully moving.

I agree
Yes you can! The last time I checked they were still having movie nights. I believe they were on Tuesday nights. The residents loved them.
Yes, at side entrance on San Pedro. Check in a 6th street entrance first.
Yes they still have safe sleeping, of course you'll always run across people that don't like it there, but yes you are safe there.
Be in the lobby at 6:30am and join The Program/Clothes, bed, eventual t.v. etc food. The longer you stay clean/sober the longer you stay and computer room and gym as well.
Yes
Wow. Well everyone's experience sure won't be the same. I've been to hundreds of places. I don't lie about my reviews. Good day sir!

Michael First off let me say thanks for asking me! I would have to say Midnight Mission. Call them and ask to speak with Larry Love. He will definitely help you out. If I ever become Homeless myself I will call Larry Love and go there myself. They have 2 different Men Programs there. When you talk with Larry Love ask him about both Men Programs there! Good luck and be sure that Midnight Mission will be there for you!!
Go apply at the LAMP 527 Crocker st. For shelter and help in obtaining housing Apply on the first of the month.
They are a 12 Step program. They will make referral to Mental Health if needed.

Some would say it's the thought that counts but I'm saying it's the heart as well as your desire to be the vehicle that's to fulfill his spirit of love as well as the needed things a person could use and need from one's act of kindness.
Yes you would just need a valid form of identification.

Check into the mission at 6 what 6 in the morning, as far as availability on beds that part I do not know it constantly changes
Depends on what program you get into? Are to help someone needs.
Yes
Yes, it depends on availability. Check in or call the security desk for more information.
it would be best to go in and talk with them and then y'all can work out what kind of playing that you would like to do
I would recommend going to the Union Rescue Mission for last minnute space tonight.
Not a whole lot tonight it's already getting late. You might be able to get a sack lunch. They are usually for diabetics, all you can do is ask. Alot of people sleep in the courtyard because they have heaters outside. Breakfast is at 6: 45 a.m. tomorrow you can line up at 2 for a winter shelter bed.
Check in at the security desk on site. There is a time for check in and space is limited if you go later.
Hi Rosalind, what program are you asking about? I ask because while it's true that most men can enter one of their programs just about anytime; for women it's different. Unless something big has changed since I was last there, which was probably about 6 months or more ago. Because at that time women were still fighting for a bed every morning at 7 am. Which I've mentioned in other Midnight Mission replies there are way to little of. They call the women's program The Bridge Program an it occupies a corner of the ground floor. The men have at least one whole floor that I know of and possibly another above that one, just to give some perspective. In fact their storage area is at least double if not more than the size of the women's area. Sorry for the long explanation but the difference does bother me. So Rosalind or any other women trying to get a bed at the Midnight, please call first so you can find out when you can go fight for a bed along with the all the other women.
Go to the security booth and they will walk you through it step-by-step
Ok, first of all you don't know how lucky you are that they even take women in. But to answer your question about 2-3 years ago when I was looking to be admitted; I would have to be there at 7am because there would already be a line forming. The person to ask for at the time was Larry Love. Keep in mind that unless they've recently expanded, the amount of beds for women was limited. So my advice is to be very persistent. Even if you have to go everyday for a little while. That's what I had to do. Good luck!
I have a friend at Midnight Mission and he just told me that they do give children toy to needed families.
Must be 4:30
Urm employees are hypocrites.and don't care about help people., sincerely bad people..
It's the Wallis Annenberg courtyard!
So I go every Sunday morning at 530am. Sometimes I am the only volunteer sometimes a whole fraternity will show up. They serve 3 meals a day every day. You can just show up or call to let them know. I drive underneath in the parking garage and take the elevator to the main floor where you can follow signs to sign in.
