I love donating blood, and this location is pretty nice. The staff is really friendly, and the snacks are great.

This place is located right next to the VA Center. I've only come here to donate blood. Which is nice and all but these guys are inefficient. They take entirely way too long to process people and get them through. From the questionnaire screening, to going over your questions, to getting you to the bed to donate. At least there is plenty of free parking here.

I would recommend reaching out to your local hospitals. There may be a need in your area and then you can save on postage as well.
No. But the "thanks" you receive make it worth it.
Red Cross never accepts clothing donations. organizations like Goodwill or Salvation army know how to accept your generous donation and get to the right people in need.
They don't pay you'll cash, you sometimes get a shirt or concert tickets. Plus free snacks and drinks.
Donate a pint of blood, and they'll tell you your blood type.

It helps with hotels ONLY in case the resident (s) or family was displaced because of any kind of natural disaster or a home fire.
Money donations can be done online via Red Cross website
Look on web for la region phone number and ask for disaster time volunteer staffing
Call directly too your nearest red cross to find where can you donate it.
