The downtown women center is not a shelter..it is a day center for women to go during the daytime..because alot of shelters put u out early in the morning..DWC is somewhere u cud shower, eat, watch tv they play bingo they have shopping for clothes.. My understanding now is that they have a program that will allow woman to sleep in the day center..if u wanna know more about that go and speak to a case manerger there at the day center at 9:30 am mon-fri
