Great place to volunteer and provide aid to the community

They give volunteers who have a house and car and jobs first dibs before the poor. We stood in line for hours waiting just to watch a rich person who just drive up get the best items for themselves first, so there's nothing but throw always left. That's not helping the poor. I won't go back. And the 2 piece of chicken is so dry!!! Nothing says stand in line for 6 hours to watch a rich person get it first line this place!

It is admirable that they give you complimentary pollo loco meal and quality snacks along with fruit for free every Sunday at 4:00 p.m at the parking lot of the gay and lesbian center on Schander Blvd to those in need. The program also offers job placement services to those who are able to actually keep a job. Persons with emotional or drug issues would not qualify for this great job assistance program which is not a scam at all.

There are wonderful people who donate to this group and help homeless people to get job and housing to people through the program.However beware the boss in this group a lady called Gillian do kick out people from the program because she simple doesn't like you.Im long time homeless drug alcohol and bad attitude free perfect fit for the program and I desperately needed a job but she kicked me out simple because she doesn't liked me.A week before kicked out a guy name David for the same reason.Simle she didn't think David fit into the program yet he didn't give any reason to be kicked out.I don't know if they simply don't have enough resources to help everyone maybe their money is limited or she is simply high and mighty and do whatever she wants kick out whoever she wants.I got my GED in this year while I was homeless but she didn't think this program is right to me.
