We had an amazing experience with IRC. The application process was easy and very straightforward; I went online, filled out the intake form, and received a phone call and follow up email the next day to complete some more forms. Within 2 weeks, my daughter had her evaluation and received the final report 45 days later. The evaluation team from Sunny Days (a vendor with IRC) was AMAZING! They went above and beyond to gather all my daughters medical and personal history/information, she even called me on a Sunday-her day off ! They also took their time observing my daughter and gathering more info from me. All the staff members, and are empathetic, kind, knowledge and helpful. Thank you IRC for your services, it's really helped my daughter thrive.

Hi I am a client with Regional and I have left a review 11 months ago in regards to my social worker and our experience, I wanted to leave another review but it won’t let me so I’m writing a review though my son’s account, because I think it’s important to get the word out, my son is non verbal and he has Autism and I know if my son could talk or express how he feels he would be saying the same thing I will say to you rite now! I wanted to first off say Thank you to inland Regional, I don’t know what I would of done living here with out this program, because since I’ve been here we have gone though a lot of things for my sons rights..... weather it was about medical supplies, insurance Denials, ihss, just someone with the knowledge of my child’s rights! This place has been thier for me or has giving me the resources I need to help navigate though my sons life! I wanted to speak to who ever is a higher up person to let them know the services I’ve received, and that’s not just the services I believe it’s also because my social worker her name is Diem she always calls to see how my son is doing, she has been the best since day one, let me also tell you that my family contracted corona virus 🦠 my mom almost died, and their wasnt one day that went by that she wasn’t here for me. My whole family got it even my son with autism and I felt so alone being everyone’s caretaker while sick my self! And thier was my social thier by my side praying for us giving me encouragement to be strong while my mother was ready to be put on life support Diem was by my side. When I think about my life struggles I feel like regional is just my backbone and that not just cause regional it’s also because of Diem, I had other social workers they didn’t do what Diem does! I’m just so greatful for her and I just want my story to be shared with the top people or person in regional I feel like when a place is doing above and beyond I think the place and person Diem!!!!! Needs to be recognized! I feel like she needs a award of humanity! What she has given our family is above and beyond what any human has given us!!!! And Inland Regional we Thank You!

Hello Raymond. Thank you for your question. We currently do not have volunteer opportunities at this time. We appreciate your interest.
Hi Sonia. Thank you for your question. California regional centers, including IRC, are governed by state law. A piece of legislation called the Lanterman Act established the regional center system and how we provide services. We serve people with developmental disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and intellectual disability. ADHD is not covered under the Lanterman Act. You can learn more about the regional center system at dds.ca.gov.
Hi Sonia. Thank you for your question. We serve people with developmental disabilities. Our eligibility criteria include autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and intellectual disability. You can learn more about our intake guidelines at inlandrc.org/eligibility.
Hi Natividad. We provide service people with developmental disabilities, specifically epilepsy, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, and autism. If your daughter has one of these diagnoses or you think she may please visit inlandrc.org/eligibility to learn about qualifying and applying for regional center services. Also, what area do you live in?
Wow, it sounds like your neighbor is antagonizing your son... I would get video of them making faces at your son, so if it does come down to where they try to get a restraining order, you’ll have proof of what they’re doing too.
Try. Contacting IHSS on Hospitality Ln in San Bernardino. Also try mefical transport.
Hi Linda. We are not able to comment on specific funding because each service and funding source is specific to the Consumer and their case. We encourage you to contact your Service Coordinator with any case-specific questions. Have an awesome day!
He is mentally challenged and his dad side of the family won't give me any info on him. I've been looking for two years I don't know how to get help to find him. Do you have any info to lead me in the right direction. I do know that he's somewhere in San Bernardino county. Also i beleive he's a ward of the state. I really need to find my son please help me. Or tell me who can
Hi Lafayette. Regional Centers, like IRC, operate in the state of California. Each state has their own system for providing services. Once someone moves out of California they will no longer be served by the California Regional Center system.
Hi Susan, When you call your service coordinator and the call goes to voicemail you can press 0 to reach the duty officer for that department.
Hi Rita. Thank you for your question. We have included conservatorship resources below. http://www.sb-court.org/Divisions/Probate/Conservatorship.aspx http://riverside.courts.ca.gov/selfhelp/conservatorship.shtml You can also contact your IRC Service Coordinator for additional assistance.
Hi Carol. Thank you for your question. The process of appealing decisions regarding regional center services is called Fair Hearings. Here is a link to resources you may find useful: https://www.dds.ca.gov/Complaints/Complt_FH.cfm You can also visit the Consumers/Families section of our website to learn more about Appeals and how to contact our Legal Affairs team: https://www.inlandrc.org/consumersfamilies/
