Lanterman has been a God send for us. The staff is very caring and helpful. They make sure to have as many resources available to us as possible. And, they work with the community to create additional opportunities for interaction and advocacy training. Unfortunately, changes in state funding and regulations have limited the regional center's ability to fund as much as they used to, but that is actually out of their hands.

Hi. As far as services provided the center has other departments that handle after age 3. Most services are usually provided through which ever school district they may be in. That's usually determine based on EIP.

Do they accept insurance?

Insurance is not needed. Services are based on need. Regional centers indirectly use med-cal funding. If families are not eligible for medi-cal they will have something close to a a share of cost
